Presentations & Conferences
8th Congress of the Croatian Society of Medical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine in September 2015
DiaSys distributor in Croatia, BigBlue participated in this event which took place in Rijeka, Croatia. Beside the industrial exhibition, BigBlue organized a workshop on the cardio-renal syndrome in which Lp-PLA2 was presented as a valuable biomarker which enables early detection of vulnerable plaques in high risk patients. Interested participants took the opportunity to address their requests and collected information on other parameters which contribute to the cardio-renal syndrome.
41st National Conference of Association of Clinical Biochemists, India, December 2014
DiaSys India exhibited in two of the prominent Indian Exhibitions for Diagnostics. One was the 63rd Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (IAPM) and the Annual Conference of the International Academy of Pathology-Indian Division (IAP-ID) held at the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune from the 4th to 7th of December. Second the 41st National Conference of Association of Clinical Biochemists of India at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur from the 10th to 13th of December.
DiaSys India was present in the associated industry exhibition presenting the product portfolio for diagnostic system solutions, point-of-care testing and automated laboratory systems.
During the conference, the DiaSys team had the opportunity to present the new parameter Lp-PLA2. More than 80 participants followed the presentation which was held and supported by DiaSys Product Manager Irene Delseith; the half an hour session was appreciated and followed with great interest by the audience.
LABKVALITA, Slovakia, October 2013
Our distributor Bio-G in Slovakia exhibited at this Biennial Conference of the Slovak Society of Clinical Biochemistry which took place in Štrbské Pleso from October 6 – 8, 2013. During this event, DiaSys Product Manager Ms Irene Delseith held a lecture on Lp-PLA2 entitled "Closing the diagnostic gap in cardiovascular risk assessment".
The subsequent discussion among present experts, led by P. Blažíček, Bratislava, showed that this new biomarker is seen as a valuable tool in cardiovascular risk assessment. The introduction of the easy-to-use DiaSys test was highly welcomed and interested participants took the opportunity to collect more information on the DiaSys product in the parallel industry exhibition.
